Surfing online for an opportunity to work at home online, you may have noticed the term, “You need only a computer and an Internet connection to work from home”. I am afraid that I may also use it through these articles. Anyhow, it is not the only need to work from home as an independent contractor, freelancer or work at home mom. So if you decided getting in practically, you must have some skills in basics of computing and Internet, English language and the knowledge of the particular category you are going to work in.

I think knowledge of terms most used in a online marketplace or outsourcing website will be helpful for a new work from home person. The list will grow more and I will humbly request to comment about a term I am missing. Thanks
